Govt to buy only green printing paper from Q3
It is doing its part as a consumer to influence the agro-forestry industry through purchasing decisions, says Masagos

TO support companies with sustainable practices in the continuing fight against the haze, the Singapore government will procure only certified green printing paper from the third quarter of this year, said Minister for the Environment and Water Resources Masagos Zulkifli.
It will also buy electrical products that have been certified with high energy efficiency, starting with air-conditioners, lamps, televisions and refrigerators, to take the lead in mitigating climate change.
