Govt has not ruled out other ways to fund T5, says Indranee
Singapore
THE Singapore government is still looking for the optimal way to pay for Changi Airport's Terminal 5, and does not rule out other funding methods, said Senior Minister of State for Finance Indranee Rajah on Tuesday.
She was responding to Workers' Party MP Pritam Singh (Aljunied GRC), who asked for the Finance Ministry's position on the International Air Transport Association's (IATA) stand that major airport expansion works should not be pre-funded through taxes on travellers.
