GREECE was on the brink of leaving the eurozone in the summer, but things are now looking up for the beleaguered country, said Stavros Thomadakis, emeritus professor of financial economics at the University of Athens, and who has also served on a number of regulatory bodies.
He said: "We have risen from the brink of disaster, not to the peak of the mountain ... but somewhere on the way up. And I'm hopeful that things will stabilise."
