THE Hong Kong government suspended formal talks with pro-democracy protesters scheduled for Friday after leaders of the movement called for more demonstrations.
The occupation of the city's streets is illegal and the call by protest leaders on Thursday for more rallies was "uncooperative", Carrie Lam, the city's No 2 official, told reporters.
