Home team to take 'calibrated' approach to building security

THE government will work with building owners and event organisers here to help them manage their costs when it comes to having tighter security measures in place.

Senior Minister of State for Home Affairs Desmond Lee said this in Parliament on Wednesday, as he emphasised that the security of buildings was "critical" and there was a need to do more amid the current terrorist threat.
