IE Singapore launches Plug and Play Network to help SMEs go regional
IE Singapore on Thursday announced the launch of its Plug and Play Network across India, China and South-east Asia.
The Plug and Play Network seeks to help SMEs (small and medium enterprises) access new markets by providing support in business advisory services, business matching and market set-up via co-working spaces.
SMEs can gain access to over 45 major cities across six markets, including New Delhi, Ho Chi Minh City, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur and Shanghai, said IE Singapore.
Satvinder Singh, assistant chief executive officer of IE Singapore, said: "Each market has its specific challenges and unique characteristics. To succeed, it is critical to familiarise with local business conditions and find partners with the right networks."
The Plug & Play Network aims to benefit 200 to 300 Singapore companies each year.
