IMF trims US growth forecast for 2016-2017

[WASHINGTON] The International Monetary Fund lowered its forecast for the US economy Tuesday, noting the drag from the strong dollar and sluggish economies elsewhere on otherwise firm growth.

The IMF said the US should grow by about 2.4 per cent this year, compared to its January prediction of 2.6 per cent.
