Indonesia calls for central bank to cut policy rate
Chief economic minister wants rate to reflect liquidity conditions, not be set to attract capital inflows
Jakarta

Darmin Nasution, President Joko Widodo's coordinating minister for the economy and a former central bank governor, said on Tuesday that the policy rate should reflect "liquidity conditions" rather than be set to attract capital inflows.
