Indonesia central bank sees 2015 inflation at 4.3-4.5% y-o-y, 2016 at 4.5%
[JAKARTA] Indonesia's central bank expects annual inflation to cool to around 4.3-4.5 per cent at the end of 2015, slightly higher than an initial estimate of 4.2-4.3 per cent it made in July, its deputy governor told reporters.
Mirza Adityaswara, senior deputy governor, said annual inflation will stabilise at 4.5 per cent next year.
Inflation in July was 7.26 per cent, virtually the same as June, and was the highest this year.
Adityaswara also said Bank Indonesia will revise its outlook for 2015 economic growth from 5.0-5.4 per cent in its next policy meeting on Aug 18, without giving details.
