[JAKARTA] Indonesia's central bank said on Tuesday it expected gross domestic product growth this year at the lower end of its target of between 5.4 and 5.8 per cent.

Indonesia's GDP expanded 5.02 per cent for the full year in 2014, and the economy grew a slightly better than forecast 5.01 per cent in the fourth quarter from the same period a year earlier.

The central bank also said it expected a trade surplus in March.

A Reuters poll of analysts forecast a trade surplus of US$620 million, the fourth straight month of surplus. The bureau of statistics will release March trade data on Wednesday.
