Indonesia douses talk of curbs to capital and exchange rate

INDONESIA has reaffirmed its commitment to allowing the free movement of capital and a floating exchange rate, putting to bed concerns that the government would impose capital controls to manage the rupiah and dollar liquidity.
Edi Prio Pambudi, assistant deputy minister in the Economics ministry, told Reuters on Wednesday:
