Indonesia revises 2015 current account deficit outlook to 3% of GDP

[JAKARTA] Indonesia's central bank has revised its forecast for the country's current account deficit this year to 3 per cent of gross domestic product rather than the previous 2.8 per cent estimate, a senior official said on Thursday.
Juda Agung, executive director of Bank Indonesia's economic and monetary policy, also estimated the current account deficit for 2014 at 3 per cent of GDP.
The central bank earlier held interest rates steady in its first policy meeting for the year on Thursday.
