Indonesia revises Dec trade deficit to US$161m
Add BT as a preferred source[JAKARTA] Indonesia's statistics bureau on Monday revised its calculations of the country's trade deficit in December to US$161 million, smaller than the US$236 million deficit it reported a month ago.
The trade surplus for 2015 was also revised up to US$7.58 billion, up around US$70 million from a preliminary report the bureau announced in January.
The bureau said in its website that exports in December were US$11.92 billion, revised up from US$11.89 billion, while imports were revised to US$12.08 billion from US$12.12 billion.
The bureau is due to announce January trade data later on Monday.
