INDONESIA gets high marks for good economic management and strong growth prospects in a new report issued by the Washington-based Institute of International Finance (IIF), which warns, however, that "conservative Islamic forces are gaining ground" in the country.
It said: "The focus of the government of President Jokowi on prudent macro policies, structural reforms and more inclusive growth is positive for the economy at a time of rising global uncertainty and domestic political headwinds."
