Japan firms expect CPI to rise 1.2% a year from now: BOJ survey

[TOKYO] Japanese firms expect consumer prices to rise an average 1.2 per cent a year from now, a Bank of Japan survey showed on Friday.
That compared with an expected 1.4 per cent annual increase in the previous survey.
Firms polled by the BOJ as part of its detailed "tankan" survey for September also said they expect consumer prices to rise an annual 1.4 per cent three years from now and an annual 1.5 per cent five years from now.
