Japan PM Abe says open to summit with North Korea's Kim
[UNITED NATIONS, United States] Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said Tuesday he was open to meeting Kim Jong Un in the wake of the North Korean leader's historic summit with US President Donald Trump.
Mr Abe, who rose to political prominence advocating a hard line on North Korea, told the United Nations General Assembly that he was willing to "get off to a new start" through a summit with the Pyongyang regime's leader.
