Judgment reserved on Tan Cheng Bock's election appeal

No date set for judgment to be delivered; CJ Menon says panel will get back to the court 'as soon as possible'

    SINGAPORE'S highest court has reserved judgment on the appeal by former presidential candidate Tan Cheng Bock against the basis and timing of the upcoming reserved presidential election.

    This after a five-member panel from the Court of Appeal, led by Chief Justice Sundaresh Menon, heard the case before a packed courtroom.
