Jurong Port chairman, Chief of Defence Force join JTC board

THE Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) has named Jurong Port chairman Lee Chong Kwee and Chief of Defence Force Major-General Perry Lim to the board of JTC Corp.
Their appointments are effective Sept 1, and will bring to 14 the size of the industrial infrastructure developer's board of directors.
Jessie Yeo, executive secretary of Metal Industries Workers' Union, and Ngiam Shih Chun, deputy secretary for industry at MTI, will be reappointed on Jan 1, 2016.
Lieutenant-General Ng Chee Meng, the former Chief of Defence Force, stepped down following his retirement from the Ministry of Defence on Aug 18. Mr Ng is currently a candidate for the ruling People's Action Party in the coming parliamentary elections in Singapore.
