THE shocking and unprecedented enmasse resignation of Khazanah Nasional's nine-member board including embattled chief Azman Mokhtar and some of Malaysia's longest-serving and distinguished corporate individuals on Thursday could cast doubts over the manner in which the shake- up of Malaysia Inc by the country's new leadership is being handled.
"There was no clarity on whether Azman Mokhtar was staying or leaving or when it would all happen. He must have been waiting for a decision but nobody gave any instructions and so this board which is a proper board, must have been perplexed. . . so, all of them offered to resign," said a source.
