THE change in political leadership in Malaysia has not had any impact on the bidding preparation by French firm Alstom in the high-speed rail (HSR) project that is to run from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur.
"It has not changed the current dynamics of our preparation of the bid because given the complexity of this preparation, we need to keep the momentum going," said Jean-Francois Beaudoin, Alstom senior vice-president for Asia-Pacific.
