THE late Lee Kuan Yew "left nothing to chance" when it came to governing Singapore, said Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on Wednesday, the first anniversary of his father's death on March 23 last year.
PM Lee was speaking before the start of a Cabinet meeting at the Istana, with his team observing a minute's silence afterwards for the man who served as the country's first prime minister for 31 years.
