MALAYSIA and Abu Dhabi have settled - with conditions - a closely-watched and long-drawn dispute between their state-backed entities over claims totalling a whopping US$6.5 billion involving 1Malaysia Development Berhad.
This follows some 10 months after the Gulf emirates-controlled International Petroleum Investment Company (IPIC) sought to recover the monies from Malaysia through the London Court of International Arbitration following a bitter fallout.
