    POLITICAL storms in Malaysia have become a familiar patch for investors to navigate in recent years but in the latest unprecedented round, market pundits warn of serious policy uncertainties in an economy enroute to grow at its lowest pace in over a decade.

    If Malaysia's wobbly politics persists and sensibilities stay in the backseat, consumer sentiment and business confidence in the country could suffer and strain private spending - the lynchpin of the export-oriented economy - worsening the pinch from a sagging global economy and the Covid-19 contagion.
