AS preparations for a massive event integrating urban planning, water, and waste management here enter the last stretch, some are suggesting that the event can be improved further, especially as the sectors gain prominence as a future growth area for Singapore.
The integrated events of Singapore International Water Week (SIWW), World Cities Summit (WCS) and CleanEnviro Summit Singapore (CESS) - which together will draw about 20,000 participants from more than 100 cities - will kick off at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre on Sunday.
