[MEXICO CITY] Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador underwent a cardiac catheterisation in hospital on Friday and was found to be in good health, the interior ministry said in a statement.
"In this procedure, the heart and the arteries of the president were found to be healthy and functioning appropriately," the statement said.
Lopez Obrador, who recently recovered from his second infection with the coronavirus, underwent the procedure as part of a regular check-up every six months, the government said.
