Military man to be first A*Star CEO

REAR Admiral (RAdm) Frederick Chew Chih Chiang, 43, will be the first chief executive officer (CEO) in the history of the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*Star).
He will take on the role from April 1, the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) announced on Friday, and also be appointed to the agency's board that day.
