TO protect the interests of retail investors, businesses must raise the bar in corporate governance by initiating innovative practices.
At the Securities Investors Association Singapore's (SIAS) 15th Investors' Choice Awards on Friday, Minister for Culture, Community and Youth and Second Minister for Communications and Information Lawrence Wong shared a few past innovative approaches that had been successfully adopted by homegrown businesses, which in turn have benefited both their shareholders and their employees.
