Najib: Mahathir behind 1MDB lies

MALAYSIAN Prime Minister Najib Razak yesterday pointedly accused Mahathir Mohamad of colluding with foreign parties to create the 1MDB crisis after he refused the former leader's personal demands.
In a Facebook posting late last night, Mr Najib gave a point-by-point rebuttal of earlier allegations and claims in Friday's Wall Street Journal (WSJ) that the country's investigators probing 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) had discovered billions of ringgit channelled into bank accounts allegedly belonging to the prime minister.
