New Zealand business confidence jumps in July: ANZ survey
NEW Zealand business confidence jumped in July with every sector except retail reporting an improvement in sentiment, an ANZ Bank survey showed on Wednesday.
The survey’s headline measure showed a net 27.1 per cent of respondents expected the economy to improve over the year ahead, versus an 6.1 per cent optimism level in the previous poll in June.
A net 16.3 per cent of respondents expected their own businesses to grow in the next 12 months, versus 12.2 per cent last month. REUTERS
