North Korean leader Kim Jong Un condemns warship accident: KCNA
[SEOUL] An accident occurred during the launch of a new North Korean warship while leader Kim Jong Un was watching, state media KCNA said on Thursday.
Kim, who witnessed the failed launch of the 5,000-ton destroyer, criticised the incident as “carelessness” that “could not be tolerated”, and ordered the ship to be restored before a June party meeting, KCNA said.
The destroyer was later seen lying sideways in the water. REUTERS
