Obama in 'excellent' health, says doctor
[WASHINGTON] Barack Obama's personal doctor says the US president is in excellent health, and despite graying hair has become even healthier as his time in the Oval Office goes on.
In a medical report released by the White House on Tuesday, physician to the president Ronny Jackson paints Mr Obama as a paragon of virtue, working out daily, eating healthy food and drinking only in moderation.
"The president's overall health remains excellent and is improved from his last formal assessment (in 2014)," wrote Jackson.
"His adherence to a healthy diet and a consistent exercise programme has resulted in an improved lean body mass and lower cholesterol level."
But Mr Obama's physical scorecard is not without blemish.
He is "tobacco" free, but makes "occasional use" of nicotine gum.
