THE horrific killing of 12 cartoonists, journalists and their editor at Charlie Hebdo, a satirical magazine in Paris, is expected to boost security surveillance in offices throughout Europe.

Moreover, since the sickening outrage has been publicised globally and previous atrocities have taken place in Belgium, Pakistan, the US, Canada, Australia, Nigeria, Kenya, India, the UK and Israel, security is likely to become increasingly sophisticated.
