Passengers with 21-day travel history to Indonesia can transit through Singapore: MOH
ALL passengers with a 21-day travel history to Indonesia will be allowed to transit through Singapore from Sept 22 at 2359 hours, the Health Ministry (MOH) said on Friday.
In addition, travellers from Indonesia entering Singapore will only need to undergo an on-arrival polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test, instead of both a PCR and an Antigen Rapid Test.
In a news release, the MOH said it is resuming such transits as the Covid-19 situation in Indonesia has improved.
Separately, the ministry also announced that Poland and Saudi Arabia have been added to the list of Category II countries, which include Australia, Brunei, Canada, Germany, New Zealand and South Korea.
Border measures for Category II countries comprise a pre-departure PCR test within 48 hours, an on-arrival test, a seven-day stay-home notice (SHN) at their place of accommodation, and a Day 7 SHN exit PCR test.
Meanwhile, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, France, Latvia, Portugal and Spain have been added to Category III. Vaccinated travellers from these countries may apply to serve their 14-day SHN at a suitable accommodation of their choice, be it a residential address, hotel or serviced apartment.

They must have remained in the country for the last consecutive 21 days prior to arriving in Singapore and be occupying their respective places of residence alone, or only with household members who are vaccinated serving SHN with the same travel history and duration.
Unvaccinated travellers will still be required to undergo a 14-day SHN at dedicated SHN facilities.
"As the global situation evolves, we will continue to adjust our border measures in tandem with our roadmap to becoming a Covid-19 resilient nation. Any changes to border measures will be updated on the SafeTravel website," MOH said.
"Travellers are advised to visit the website to check the latest border measures for the associated country or region before entering Singapore, and be prepared to be subjected to the prevailing border measures upon entry."
