THERE have been very few successful businessmen in Singapore like Lee Seng Gee, who was even more successful as a philanthropist, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said in a letter of condolence to his wife Della and family on Wednesday.
"He was a rare, selfless and humble individual who contributed to Singapore throughout his life," PM Lee said of the long-standing chairman of the Lee Foundation and Lee Rubber Group, who died at age 95 on Tuesday.
