SINGAPORE pushed for open skies pacts at the annual talks of Asean leaders and between the regional grouping and its close partners, as the 25th Asean Summit kicked off on Wednesday.
Calling on fellow leaders to continue finding ways to keep their economies relevant and competitive at the Asean heads' meeting, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong also urged Asean to fully roll out their open skies agreement by end-2015. This would boost Asean trade, investment and tourism in the region, according to him.
