Ramaswamy quits US presidential race, endorses Trump
US REPUBLICAN entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, a political newcomer who sought to shake up the 2024 presidential race by challenging more established candidates, announced on Monday that he was pulling out and endorsing Donald Trump.
“We are going to suspend this presidential campaign,” Ramaswamy told supporters after he was projected to finish a distant fourth in the Iowa caucuses.
“I called Donald Trump to tell him I congratulate him on his victory, and now going forward he will have my full endorsement for the president.” AFP
