THE US must do all it can to ratify the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) or it faces the prospect of losing credibility in the eyes of the international community, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said in Washington on Monday (Tuesday morning, Singapore time).

Speaking at a reception hosted by the US Chamber of Commerce and the US-Asean Business Council, he urged American industry and business leaders to throw their full support behind the trade deal, stressing that the US has a "unique opportunity" to anchor its engagement in the Asia-Pacific through it.
