    THE man who tried to assassinate President Ronald Reagan 35 years ago is going home - this time it seems, for good.

    John Hinckley Jr was released from St Elizabeths Hospital on Saturday morning, the culmination of his decades-long rehabilitation in a DC mental hospital.
