WORK on the project to rejuvenate Mandai with two new nature-themed parks is about to start, following Monday's ground-breaking ceremony, with the precinct expected to create jobs once it is fully operational.

Speaking at the ceremony, Minister for Trade and Industry S Iswaran said: "There will be interesting career opportunities for Singaporeans interested in hospitality, conservation and research. There will also be tourism benefits, with Mandai helping to attract visitors from Asia and beyond, who are interested in eco-friendly experiences."
