THE government will enhance its support measures through a S$1.1 billion support package to aid workers and businesses as Singapore returned to Phase 2 (Heightened Alert).
The package will be funded by reallocations from one-off underutilisation of funds due to Covid-19 as well as fiscal resources set aside earlier in the event of an extension of support measures, the Ministry of Finance (MOF) said on Friday.
