[PETALING JAYA] The legal officer involved in the probe into 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) has not had her Malaysian permanent residency revoked.
In a statement on Thursday, Jessica Gurmeet Kaur expressed her gratefulness to Immigration director-general Datuk Mustafa Ibrahim for confirming that her PR status was not revoked. "I would like to thank my lawyers for their relentless efforts for my cause. I further request the media to respect my privacy so that I can move on peacefully with my life," she said.
