LAST month's Federal Reserve decision not to increase interest rates was a "close call" for several policymakers, supporting views that a hike could come in December, said the minutes of a Fed meeting released on Wednesday.
Some other members of the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) also believed it would be "appropriate" to raise rates "relatively soon", said the notes from the meeting of Sept 20-21.
