Services trade growing in importance

Services trade has grown more important in Singapore's overall trade, even though merchandise trade still accounts for the lion share of it.
Between 2004 and last year, services trade jumped from 19.7 to 26.7 per cent in its share of total trade, according to International Enterprise Singapore.
