Singapore Budget 2018: No carbon tax imposed on petrol, diesel, CNG

THE government will not levy an additional carbon tax on petrol, diesel and compressed natural gas, Finance Minister Heng Swee Keat said on Monday.
Excise duties already apply to these fuels. The government also will not increase excise duties at this point in time, but will continue to review and adjust them periodically, said Mr Heng.
