DESPITE welcoming the year of the sure-footed goat, consumers in Singapore are cautious about brandishing their wallets this month.

The ANZ-Roy Morgan Singapore Consumer Confidence - which aims to provide a gauge of sentiment in the economy - fell by 2.1 per cent to 120.7 points in February. This was below the 2014 average of 121.1.
