SINGAPORE will look to set up a green bond market, said Second Minister for Finance and Minister for National Development Lawrence Wong on Thursday.
"There is potential here for the development of a green bond market," said Mr Wong, who was speaking at the IMAS conference.
A green bond grant will be offered to spur development in this area.
Mr Wong also announced that the Monetary Authority of Singapore will consult the public on a new corporate structure for funds. This will allow funds to further consolidate their operations here.
