Singapore, KL to work towards recognition of vaccine certificates

    OBSERVERS say daily travel between Singapore and Malaysia is unlikely to happen this year, even after both countries announced on Tuesday that they will work towards recognising each other's vaccine certificates to facilitate cross-border travel "in the future".

    "The timeline is still uncertain, but I assume it would require the travellers to be vaccinated," said OCBC Bank chief economist Selena Ling.
