Singapore workers' 2015 pay rise seen to be third smallest in Asia


WORKERS in Singapore can expect an average wage increase of 4.5 per cent in 2015 - the same level as this year, but still much lower than many other economies in the region. The projected increase is the third-lowest in the region; only workers in Japan and Taiwan will get a smaller pay rise next year.

Human resource consulting firm ECA International, which released its findings on the latest salary trends on Thursday, said that with inflation predicted to be higher in 2015, Singapore workers...
