Singapore's WorkRight programme shares top UN public service prize
Started in September 2012, the initiative has benefited over 42,000 Singaporeans as at April 1 this year

SINGAPORE'S WorkRight initiative has won a shared first prize in the "Promoting Whole-of-Government Approaches in the Information Age" category of the United Nations' Public Service Awards for the Asia-Pacific.
Thailand's Holistic School in Hospital initiative was the other top-prize winner for the region in that category. The Thai initiative aims to provide education for children with chronic illnesses or who have long-term stays in hospitals.
