Slightly more upbeat year for trade in 2016

While the new forecasts are unremarkable, they remain improvements after a dismal 2015

    DESPITE a poor start, Singapore's trade is tipped to finish the year with a slightly better showing.

    Unveiling the results of its review of Singapore's 2015 trade performance on Wednesday, International Enterprise Singapore said it is maintaining its non-oil domestic export (NODX) growth forecast for 2016 at 0.0 to 2.0 per cent, while trimming that for total trade to -1.0 to 1.0 per cent
